To deceive someone, usually by making that person do or believe something that they did not intend

Representative Toby Overdorf

One of the 100+ Florida House Representatives out of 120 who received an endorsement from the Florida Realtors PAC.

Why is he refusing to address these issues and answer a few very simple questions?

  1. What specific benefit does transaction brokerage provide to a buyer?
  2. What specific benefit does it provide to a seller?
  3. Why should it remain the default instead of single-agent representation?
  4. Will you support clear, written disclosure of representation?
  5. Will you support changing the forms to make all compensation transparent?
  6. Will you explain what happens to compensation when there is no buyer’s agent?

Is he unwilling to provide answers because they could expose uncomfortable truths, or does he simply no longer feel accountable to his constituents because he cannot seek another term in the Florida House?

Florida homebuyers and sellers deserve answers, transparency, and accountability from the lawmakers elected to represent and protect them.

You decide after reading the emails I will provide.
